“Courage To Connect” #Trust30

Today’s Writing Prompt:

Men imagine that they communicate their virtue or vice only by overt actions, and do not see that virtue or vice emit a breath every moment. – Ralph Waldo Emerson

Who is one person that you’ve been dying to connect with, but just haven’t had the courage to reach out to? First, reflect on why you want to get in touch with them. Then, reach out and set up a meeting.

My Response:

I have a friend from all the way back when I first started college.  She’s always been a great person to hang around.  Everyone loves her!  I even found out once I got married that The Boss knows her.  It’s been more than three years since I’ve last gotten the chance to spend some time with her and I miss it greatly.  I even tried to get her to meet up with me last time I got geographically close and she never called me back!  I have yet to understand why she distances herself so much from people at times.  I guess I’ll keep trying.  That’s the only thing I can do!
