Last time I went through being in school, the entire graduate program was 70% working in a group that you stayed with the entire program. That helped so much. They are the reason I finished, not to mention with a solid grade.
Work is another beast all together. It’s hard if you go work in an area where everyone is narrow minded. When you work in rural areas that are NOWHERE close to being on the outskirts of an urban area, they do not care about you if you do not walk like a duck and talk like a duck.
Be open about being autistic if you can. It will save you some spoons.
